How often we update
Dates on these pages are real: the Philippines source set is dated 2026-07-07 and the pages are re-checked against it. A date moves only when the content behind it moves; we do not re-stamp pages to look fresh.
Our checking process
What we check against
Everything factual on this site is checked against primary sources: the register of Two main bodies: the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC PH) regulates securities, CFDs and investment solicitation; the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) is the central bank overseeing FX transactions, leverage and payment systems. The SEC does not currently issue local retail-forex/CFD dealer licences, so most Filipinos trade with offshore-regulated brokers (FCA/ASIC/CySEC). Verify at sec.gov.ph and bsp.gov.ph., the broker's own legal documents, and its published trading conditions. We link the register we used (pse.com.ph) rather than asking anyone to take our word for a licence. For tax and payment questions we use the authorities' own publications (sec.gov.ph).
